Handmade using raw brass and shaped entirely by hand, this cuff is lightly aged to bring out a warm, organic patina. The open cuff design allows for gentle adjustment, making it comfortable for both smaller and larger wrists while maintaining its sculptural form.

In the middle ages, carnelian was also popular as a healing stone. It was said to dissolve anger or rage, protect the wearer from negative influences, and promote change.

Tidbit History: Since ancient times, carnelian has been polished and worn as jewelry. The Egyptians used it to contrast with onyx and lapis lazuli in the making of collars and necklaces. The Romans were fond of it set in gold, using small beads in earrings or larger polished stones in finger rings for men and women.
