Labradorite is a feldspar mineral prized for its labradorescence—a shifting optical effect that can produce flashes of blue, green, gold, purple, and other colors depending on the angle of the light.

This particular specimen has a rich purple presence that gives the pendant a darker, more unusual character.

In New Age traditions, labradorite is associated with transformation, intuition, protection, and creative energy.

Labradorite has a Mohs hardness of approximately 6–6.5.
