Crazy lace agate, also known as Mexican Agate is a unique banded agate that comes from Chihuahua Mexico. It gets its name from complex, lacy patterns swirling through the stone. Colors can vary from creme to orange, to red colorations and are due to iron and aluminum inclusions in the agate.

Crazy Lace Agate has been called the Happiness Stone because of its uplifting energy. Positive vibrations in the crystal are very effective at the elimination of pessimism. It can give its owner a more optimistic outlook on life.

Crazy lace agate is believed to have been created in the cretaceous period, about 65-90 million years ago.
