Howlite Aten Sundrop Necklace

Howlite can be found in parts of the U.S (mainly in California) and Nova Scotia, Canada. 

Inspired by Aten/Aton, the Sun God in traditional ancient Egyptian religion. Aten was the original sun god that the more popular sun god Ra was derived from. Aten was more of an aspect of Ra and is depicted as a solar disk terminating in human hands. Aten creates the son in the mother's womb, the seed in men, and has generated all life.

Howlite calms the mind, helps with impatience, eases stress and anger levels.

Howlite was first discovered near Winsor, Nova Scotia in 1868 by Henry How, a Canadian chemist, geologist, and mineralogist. 

Raw howlite has a Mohs hardness scale of 3, making it very fragile. Luckily this howlite has already been tumbled and treated to be as long-standing and durable as you.
