Properties & Symbolism
Ammonite is believed to carry grounding and stabilizing energy, often associated with the root chakra while gently stimulating insight connected to the third eye. Traditionally regarded as a protective fossil, ammonite is said to promote balance, order, and clarity, helping to bring a sense of stability during periods of change. Its spiral form symbolizes growth, continuity, and the ability to see the bigger picture.

History
Ammonites lived during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, spanning approximately 140 million years. The Jurassic period began around 201 million years ago, and the Cretaceous period ended roughly 66 million years ago, making each fossil a preserved fragment of ancient ocean life.
